I write humble stories of humble characters thrust into extraordinary situations, and grand epic tales of heroes at the horizon of wonder. I write speculative fiction to envision what the human race could be, if we could just break free from our shell (and occasionally to imagine what might happen if we don’t).

My latest publication is a story entitled “One Step Away” in the November-December issue of Analog Science Fiction and Fact. My newest short story, “Interconnections and Porous Boundaries” explores impostor syndrome, the awe-inspiring complexity of the natural ecosystems that sustain us, and human interconnectedness.
